No rules

Although no one said anything or any importance during the election campaign on what Brexit might mean, or indeed, how to get Brexit done, it is worth noting that today, the US blocked attempts to fill vacant seats in the dispute resolution court.

So there is no quorum, meaning there are no rules.

If this situation continues, and there is every indication that this has been Trump's goal anyway.

From now on it will be about each country's or trading bloc's size against the other. For the UK to leave the EU at this point in time makes even less sense than it did three and a half years ago.

We have seen Trump in recent weeks and months impose punitive tariffs on close friends, including Brazil whose President modelled himself on Trump. They were hit by tariffs too. And the same could happen to the UK. At any point.

And a trade deal with the US, which will increase the UK by less than % is their great hope.

You know what to do tomorrow, peeps.
