You were only supposed to blow the doors off

Oh bugger, that's torn it. Biden only went and won.

Years of planning to realign the UK's trade with the US rather than the Eu is blown out of the water.

In a few short minutes this afternoon, Biden was called as the winner of the election and Norwich scored the winner against Swansea. Only one of those things will change the world.

I have not commented about US politics and the elections, as, quite franly, we have our own problems, but many of those problems came from the US and Team Trump. Now that Trump is history, quite what will happen to the Brexiteers is a question that will have to wait for another day.

But its not good news for them.

Biden has a long memory. He will remember Johnson's racist comments about Obama's African heritage being anti-British. As always, Johnson loose tongue and easy racial discrimination will come to bite his arse.

But the UK's fortunes are tied up with the Etonian prick, so let us see what happens. That the result comes before the last week that there can be a deal between the UK and EU is timing so sensational you couldn't make it up.

Yet there it is.

Interesting times, and maybe time for a rethink, though probably not. Johnson and the Brexiteers made their beds in the Trump Hotel, but now its been closed down. Trump will spend a lot of time in court and probably in proson in the coming years. Another Trump might rise, but not for at least four years.

In this cursed year, a ray of hope. So much to mourn, so little to celebrate, tonight, we toast Sleepy Joe and the wonderful American people. At least rhe blue half.
