Welcome to France.
I am here to work, apparently.
I am staying at a budget hotel on the edge of an industrial zone. Its cheap, clean. And that's it.
Nowhere to eat nearby, just a garage and Burger Kind, with KFC a little further.
Breakfast was at half seven, and had fruit, fresh bread and reserves along with lots of strong coffee.
Which was nice.
A two mile drive away was the office, where I arrived without incident. And was then ignored.
As I was about to draft a shittogram, and quality function guy arrived, and all was on track again.
I am here because of my report here last year, and follow up on some outstanding actions. I could make life difficult, and might. Depending.
All went OK. Just OK, so for lunch they took me out to a buffet place, which seemed to be a Chinese, but everyone else was there for the grill, apparently. I had salad followed by some various breaded chicken parts, and was OK.
I finished work at about three, drove back to the hotel to chill, then went to the nearby hypermarket. Sunny when I went in, but dusk and misty, which will turn into for in half an hour.
Fog and mist forecast for the rest of the week.
Which will be nice.
Pringles and pop for supper.
Plans to go to Reims cathedral on Thursday might be scuppered by a low emission zone in the city, but seems the station is outside, if I can find a place to park there....
We shall see.
