First day of two weeks off, and the weather supposed to be wet.
Very wet.
Although, in the end, not as damp and expected.
But with only a few things to buy at Tesco, that chore was done, there was packing and the usual stuff to do before the end of the day.
Clothes were washed showers undertaken and shaving done, pulling faces in the mirror to tighten slack skin.
Suddenly there is little football, so I make do with the final game of Bayer's season to see if they could go unbeaten, and they do.
Then off to Jen's for a supper of a Chinese takeaway and then a game of cards. The sun shone in through her new roof, and on the chimney, herring gulls squawked at each other.
We finish at eight, back home to be fresh for the morning, with the alarm going off at four.
