So, what's up, Comrade Johnson?

I could write half a dozen Brexit/election related posts a day, but, the truth is, nothing has really changed in three years.

The issues are the same: lies, lies and damned lies.

And the choices are the same; just pick one out of deal, no deal or no Brexit.

But the one thing that has been bubbling away in the background is the corruption at the heart of the referendum.

Shady money, shady data, all helping not only Leave win, but put May, Johnson et al in positions of power they otherwise would not have had.

May was only PM because Cameron resigned after leading the party on Remain. And then the party infighting left her as the only "credible" candidate. Says a lot about the modern Conservative Party.

And now Johnson is PM, Gove is his right hand man, even after Gove destroyed Johnson's leadership bid in 2016. These were two senior figures in Leave.eu and or the other campaign, and so must have known about the law breaking and where the pots of cash were coming from.

And now they're in charge of releasing the report into the law-breaking, and Johnson is stalling. The Commons Committee has seen it, and thinks it should have been released weeks ago, but Johnson won't sign it off. Now Parliament is purdahed, there is no political pressure on Johnson to do anything, and of course the media isn't interested, not even the BBC.

So, we go into an election with the very real possibility that the referendum was heavily influenced by Russian interference, and the sitting PM won't do anything about it.

A coup in any other country.
