The morons are still in charge

Last night it emerged that the UK Government's coronavirus strategy was based on modelling of the wrong disease.

Yes, you heard me right.

They were following modelling for viral pneumonia not coronavirus. This means that they pressed on for over a week despite the WHO and many health professionals and SME saying it was wrong, and were ignored.

They worked out that their plan would have caused 250,000 deaths.

No shit.

A leader has to lead in a time of crisis, and Johnson has failed. THere is no indication that he will get any better. This will result in the deaths of many, many more people than would have died.

Last night, rather than closing bars, theatres and restaurants he told people to avoid them, so that that the owners of those businesses could not claim on insurance, so would just go to the wall from a lack of business. At every step, the Government is not just failing, but in the most inept way possible.

And on top of that schools and colleges are to remain open, yet being the single best way for the virus to be transmitted.
