When Johnson entered 10 Downing Street, he disbanded the Minister's Pandemic Team, just at Trump disbanded the US's pandemic response team.

It has emerged that several members of SAGE and the head of Nursing in England were both stopped from participating in the daily COVID briefings when they made clear they would say that restrictions applied to all, thus hanging Cummings out to dry.

They have not been invited back.

So, there you have it, pilitics more important that the heath and safety of the nation, and both Johnson and Trump saw no value in pandemic teams, so disbanded them less than a year before COVID hit. You really could not make this up.

Despite the the R rate now close or above 1 over much of the country, further loosening will happen on Monday when non-essential shops will reopen.

Johnson is still hiding, has not been seen since Wednesday at 18:00, and the Government issued another SI last night further muddying the waters about what is allowed and isn't. I no longer understand the rules.

We will go and meet with Jen and John today, we will play cards, though there will be no hugging. We're still careful.
