Brexit addendum

A separate post, as I think this is an important point.

Every speech that May makes, DD makes, there are demands from former ministers or current ones or right wing think tanks, these are not for the EU to read or take notice, this is for internal consuption, either warnings to the PM to do something or else, or for Fleet Street to pump out to keep the masses in the dark.

The EU has been negotiating our trade deals for 44 years; it knows more about the British economy than Britain does. It knows what Brexit would mean in any of its forms, how it would affect many sectors of the British economy. Heck, it has even publish impact assessments, and are available if you want to read them.

You can tell how well or badly Brexit is going as to who is under attack: more immigration scare stories, Corbyn is a communist, the EU is communist, romoaners are to blame. And immigration again.

Britain has been lied to again and again by the Brexiteers, about how easy Brexit would be, how much better we would all be off. All untrue, untrue now, and will be worse in 16 months. Don't take my word for it, just wait for reality to reveal all. By then it will be too late, but, still, Sunlit uplands.
