As you were

Let me start by putting things this way:

The current Government in vying to be the worst, most incompetent, lying administration in history. They have fucked up just about everything they have touched, but in a stroke of genius, have managed to blame, not themselves, but the EU or brown immigrants for the nation's ills.

Brexit, as we know, is not going well, and not even the four Ministers of State and the PM can agree among themselves what Brexit is. The Government has managed to deport, or imprison British citizens who are unable to prove they are British, mainly because the Home Office have destroyed their landing cards. The NHS has been underfunded for nearly a decade under the Tories, there is a nurse and doctor shortage, nursing bursaries have been scrapped, the the PM herself has intervened personally to ensure that chronically needed doctors are not allowed visas to work in the country. There is a housing shortage, benefits for the under 25s slashed, there has been the largest transfer of wealth to the richest 5% under "austerity" meaning the poor, sick, disabled and single parents are denied money to live.

And despite all of the above, Labour under Jeremy Corbyn is still behind in the polls, neck and neck at best. Labour made marginal gains yesterday, but also lost some councils.

Labour should be 25% ahead, and could be if they were anti-Brexit. Only Jezza doesn't like the EU, and despite remaining in the SM is a party policy voted for and carried at conference, he would take Labour and the UK out if he was PM.

Labour has been infiltrated by another party, Momentum, which has seen Labours membership swell to half a million. But the swing to the left turns many middle of the road voters off. And although Jezza might be right on, doesn't mean he's right. Nationalise this and that, although that would make things much worse in the short term, and deliver marginal savings. Dogma for its sake is rarely right, as is a party within a party.

In the meantime, our glorious leader, the PM, has delayed all the legislation needed for Brexit until October, thus being like a student cramming on the lat evening before an exam, leaving it to the last moment. If anything goes wrong, there will be no time for compromise. Which is probably the point, agree to this or else its the cliff edge! Quist why May would behave this way is something of a mystery, doubly so as she was for remain in the referendum.

Of course, at some point, she will have to say what Brexit is, and spit the cabinet and party. That might happen in June when the EU says the final deal on the NI/Irish border must be done, or if all else fails, NI stays in the CU. And SM. And to avoid a border in the Irish sea, so would Britain. Despite agreeing to this in December, May now says this is unacceptable. DD could have written his "understanding" of the December agreement and published those. He had four months, so letting the EU be the only side that did publish, and publish their interpretation, and leaving UK with little choice but to agree. As has been the case through all of Brexit.

I have now moved on to the final stage of Brexit: morbid fascination. I mean, its going to be terrible, we have said that for over a year now, but the Brexiteers have not listened. They will try to blame us, but ignoring the issues and not having solutions or even a plan is their fault alone.
