Monday Brexit

As I write this, the two halves of the war cabinet are working on the two already rejected deals that the EU have said "non" to. Saying that, Boris is still trying to force the PMs hand writing in The Time (I think) that the deal he's not working on, is the bad one. Jeremy Hunt, the nurse's frind, ahem, tweeted to tell Boris to wind is neck in.

This coming after Boris tweeted in support of May who had tweeted that she is the right person to lead the EU through Brexit to the sunlit uplands, or something. Boris mentioned the extra money for the NHS again, maybe that's what upset Hunt?

Who know.

The fact is the Brexiteers have been placed at the centre of Brexit, and have been leading the country in circles for the past 22 months, when it all goes wrong, the finger will point fairly and squarely at them, although they will try to blame the EU, teh HoL, remainers, remoaners, the Treasury, the Home Office, rather than take the blame for their total lack of preparation of course. But still they blunder on, plunger deeper and deeper into chaos whilst the EU, industry, the TUC and the rest of the world looks on at a country that has clearly lost its mind, or is high on crystal meth.

The press, for the most part, cheer Brexit on, as does the smetimes President of the United States, although his policy by tweet should alarm anyone thinking about ditching Europe as our primary trading partner for the US. Sudden import tariffs, new rules, not being able to trade with this or that country. Coming in the aftermath of the breaking of the Iran Nuclear deal by Trump, and the stark warning to EU companies who have brokered trade deals in the wake of the deal, that they had three months to get out. This is troubling for Airbus who has a £3 billion deal for airliners, which secured its future, and so scrapping the deal would hand its main competitor, Boeing, a huge boost, and of course, Boeing just happens to be a US company.

Trump is threatening NATO, trade deals and our prosperity, is this really the right time to throw our future with the 75 year old man-baby?

He is coming to London in July, maybe the planned protests might make him change his mind about a UK trade deal.

In London, time is running out, and pressure is building. Six weeks before a deal on the NI/Irish border is needed to be agreed, and no solution in sight. For most of history, England (Britain) has bossed Ireland, it being the bigger country now, and there is a set mentality in Westminster that shows clearly they think this way still. That Ireland can veto any deal until it is to Ireland's satisfaction, and that that scenario has the backing of the other 26 EU states has yet to sink in, at least publicly.

To get anything else other than a no deal Brexit, or a no Brexit, requires the agreement of all the EU27 states. That has always been the case and will remain so. And to get this deal, any deal, through, would have to be unanimously ratified by all 27. Brexit has so far done the impossible in uniting 27 European Countries into a single purpose; the protect itself and the SM. Well done Brexit, well done Brexiteers.
