Weekend Brexit

Not much to report here, other than the usual dumbfucks, IDS for one, saying that black is white and right is wrong.

It boils down to what the Brexiteers promised, all have turned to dust, and now they want us to trust them as they lead us over the cliff edge. Even JRM seems to be suggesting a no deal would be bad and in that event some kind of side deals could be agreed. Not sure where he gets that from, but shows how far we have come from no downsides and sunlit uplands to preparing to call the Army in.

Yes, the Army, as the head of the Armed Forces says they are standing by to help if needed.

he EU rejected most of May's plan, as expected, but there might be something if further compromise is done by the UK. The EU has already shifted its position in that there could only be an NO only agreement, to there being a whole UK one, but the problem now is that what if after agreeing that Westminster rejects that, what then?

And the Brexteers continue to blame everyone else other than themselves for how badly Brexit is going, that they should have had a plan is a given, except by themselves.

Brexit will fail. It will fail even if it happens, and there will be either a fact track solution for the UK to rejoin, of it will be by the A49 route, but it will happen, and there will be no more talk of Brexit.

In the same way that Suez revealed to the UK its place in the post-war world, Brexit will show the UK the same thing, but with no quick fixes like changing leader will not get the Tories out of the mess that will be the stigma of being the party that lead the country into the Valley of Brexit.
