Grift and graft

At the end of last week, Liz Truss was caught on a hot mic stating that UK workers needed to gve more graft.

Official figures show national productivity having dropped from 2010, which is when the Conservative Party came to power.

Now that Brexit has come into force, Great Britain is poorer than it would have been had we stayed in the EU. And the measure of our wealth is slower than EU member states.

And Northern Ireland.

And for that reason, the NI Protocol must be killed, as it shows how bad Johnson's Brexit deal really is.

Meanwhile the country is literally drowning in its own shit as water companies flood rivers, streams and lakes with untreated sewerage, which Conservative MPs voted to allow them to do earlier this year. Every one of them.

Chalk streams, rivers and lakes up and down the country are running dry, or running only with shit, and the country's most famous lake, Windermere, is filling with blue/green algae as it dies.

There is no safe beach between Hastings and Brighton on the south coast, and the picture is repeated all along our coastlines, with EU levels of pollution no longer enforced.

Meanwhile, energy experts say now that next year's average domestic bills might reach £6,000 a year. This is largly down to Government policy. No matter how much Ministers says it isn't. This Government allowed the nation's only large scale storage facility was allowed to close to allow the energy company pay its shareholders larger dividends.

It feels as tough the country is falling apart, and the Government is in denial or playing games instead of addressing the very realy problems facing millions and millions of families.
