The devil.....

..... is in the detail.

The UK and EU announced jointlt today that they have come to a comprehensive agreement on the NO Protocol through the Joint Committee.

In other words, the UK will uphold what it signed up to in the WA some 13 months ago, and that the PM was elected to implement as part of the WA a year ago, and Parliament ratified 11 months back.

That this is a cause for celebration shows how bad the UK have been and how low down our expectations are.

The exact details, oter than the general agreement, have yet to be written. Three weeks before they have to come into force.

And Bexiteers will not be happy about this, as they oppose any kind of deal with the EU.

Although no date has been set for Johnson going to Belgium, it will have to be before Thursday as that is when the EU Council meets.

So logic suggests tomorrow for the meeting. And yet where has logic been in Brexit?

So, YAY, the UK is going to uphold international law! Go onto the streets to celebrate that.

As before, the damage to the UK's reputation is huge and will take years, decades to recover from.
