Video emerged this eveing of two Dutch customs officials confiscating a driver's packed lunch, as it is against post-Brexit regulations to import meat and certain dairy products without the proper paperwork.
At the end of the clip, after the driver pleaded to keep the bread if nothing else, the official said no, but cheerfully ended with "welcome to the Brexit".
On the face of it, this seems to be a litty jobsworthy, and yet, this is the very deal Sir David Frost negotiated, Johnson approved and Parliament ratified.
This was always going to be the Brexit of small things, as well as the big, and those who take caravans to France and beyond for their holidays, when that is allowed again, will have to be careful what they take, or have the right paperwork.
Remember, the agreement was rushed through Parliament with just five hours debate, no ammendments and a simple yes/no vote.
This is the reality of taking back control.
Its hard not to feel a little bit of hubris is heading the way of the fishing industry for supporting Brexit, believing that Johnson and his shysters would honour the promises they made. You would have thought they understood their industry to realise putting up barriers to their biggest market was a bit of a mistake.
Meanwhile, fishing industry leaders in the North East of England have demanded a meeting with the Government over what they see as the "car crash" of the trade deal making it next to impossible to export to the EU27.
