Control or more control or less control. Or bollocks?

Thing about immigration control, it also results in emigration control too, that is what the UK applies to EU citizens, the EU will apply to UK citizens. So, when the UK says it will restrict or stop immigration of low skilled workers, then the EU will do the same to our citizens. The lack of forethought on the UK’s attitude to immigration will apply to us as UK citizens, and that of our children and grandchildren, in limiting their rights they are limiting ours at the same time.

I have the right to live and work in 28 EU countries right now, as do every UK citizen, but on 30th March next year that is reduced to just one. That’s living, working and studying all over Europe for 65 million UK citizens, stopped because some people don’t like to hear Polish being spoken on the bus.

That entire industries and areas of the economy relies on cheap and plentiful low skilled EU citizens coming over to pick our food, make us coffee in the morning, deliver our online bought goods, but that will stop. Jobs will be unfilled, so their taxes will be unpaid and the economy be poorer. They won’t rent houses either, so landlords will lose out.

No one is willing to stand up for immigration and the good it does for the country and economy, instead the Brexiiteers spout their lies unchallenged, making their racist views as fact.

When the huge mistake this is, is discovered next year, it will be impossible to correct, as March 29th is the deadline, after that the only way back is via A49 process for re-joining, and the way the UK has behaved, or this clusterfuck of a Government has acted, EU will not us back soon, and who could blame them?

Who wants to have their horizons limited? No one, but of course, how limiting this all will be will only become clear when the holiday season starts next year and the gammons will have to buy visas for each of the countries they visit, have to get extra car insurance, travel insurance and so on and on. But then it will be too late to change things back to how they were, there will never be any going back.

And so that is why I am considering having “I told you so” tattooed on my forehead.
