The cats certainly are.
The four and a half hour time difference we pretty much smashed second night home, so are now settled.
Five lots of washing done, and put away.
The urge to visit each and every orchid site is still there, but also the knowledge tat I can wait until the weather is sunny for better pictures.
And on Friday, Jools returned to yoga classes, and we were to maybe go to the gym once she got back. Instead I went to Tesco to get a few bits, so we didn't have to go at the weekend.
Leaving us with a fine morning at home. The second reason not to go orchiding was that at midday, Scully had another check up, which meant not enough time either side to be able to do anything.
So, we did gardening and such until Jools took her to the vets. The outcome? She is an enigma, still not settled down at acceptable levels, but with three other cats around, what can we do to restrict the special diet food to just Scully, or keep her from the other three's food either?
We do our best. Which is all we can do, really.
At two we went to Jen's, as she and Sylv are heading north at the weekend, so our one chance for a game or two of cards.
As things turned out, an hour went by while Jen booked a cruise with Jane in the living room, and we sat outside with John and Sylv talking about exotic holidays.
The cards began, and was the usual chaos, but was fun and full of laughter.
We were done at half five, after we showed Slyv how she could win the last hand. So, we could go home to feed the cats, administer insulin to Scully, and for me to prepare Caprese, with some fine new season vine-ripened tomatoes, which were wonderful.
In the garden the first of the Yellow Rattle is in flower, so I take shots before the sun got too low.
There was football on the tellybox, but a dead rubber. I went to bed before the end.
