The reason was I meant to book a hotel room for Saturday night, but due to whisky, I booked the room six days too early.
And to save £6, I chose the non-flex version which could not be amended, so rather than it go to waste, Jools went up to do some shopping and cruise on the river.
I had to get Jools to the station for quarter to eight, giving us just enough time for a coffee before jumping in the car to take her to Priory station.
Which I did.
So, Jools safe on the train to London, and me driving home for 36 hours home alone.
Not much to tell of the day, I listened to the radio, edited shots, wrote blogs through the morning, had cereal for lunch, then it was football the rest of the day.
With Rangers v Celtic first, Newcastle v Brighton ending with Chelsea v Liverpool.I was going to do some orchiding, but the weather was cool, windy, and as I am now a man a leisure now, there's always another day to go.
In fact, it was a major change to the weather, cool. cloudy, but really much cooler than previous days, but I wasn't going to put on the heating, what with it being May and everything.
Later at night, I woke up freezing, so had to find a blanket to put on the bed to stop from shivering.
So, I can say, that I totally wasted the entire day doing next to nothing, and ignoring the cats demands for early dinner.
A month after the time time I took a shot of the garden, here is the latest.
