Yes.
Yes I would.
Chaplins or the Corner?
Lets go to the Corner.
So, after dressing, we drover to Upper Walmer, parked outside at half eight, and were the first customers.
First of the rush, the owner said. And he was right as a few minutes later two groups of four arrived a a guy with a copy of The Times, though was not a Womble.
A large breakfast later, the world seemed a better place. A wonder what bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns and toast can do.And lashings of tea.
And it was cup final day.
Cup Final Day.
Palace v Citeh, but not kicking off until half four. There was yet more play off football before, Wimbledon won to get to Wembley in what was a good game.
A fine day outside, but one which neither of us were minded to do much at all. Jools sat on the bottom patio, so I made coffee and took her a Magnum out.
We did get a call from the picture framers that our order was complete. So just enough time to nip to Sandwich before the shop closed for four days.
The large print of the downward facing tiger now hangs over the mantlepiece and looks splendid.Life is better with a brew and ice cream.
The game began, and was end to end stuff, but soon Citeh dominated. But on 16 minutes, Palace broke and scored, and from then on it was a matter of if they could hang on.
Citeh missed a penalty, and on the final whistle, Pep was ungracious as ever, lambasting the Palace keeper.
Who was the player of the game.
We had dinner of leftovers and garlic bread, which was fine, with parmesan dipped in Balsamic, which worked really well.
then Craig on the wireless for the first time in what seemed like months.
