It still feels like an extended holiday still.
But with plenty of days to go to get things done.
The weather had turned cold, cold enough to have a jumper on, and to put the heating on first thing in the morning.
I went to Tesco to get some supplies, then back home for breakfast and another coffee.
We didn't do much with the day: listened to radio shows, wrote, edited shots, did crafts, while outside the north wind did blow, and kept it downright chilly.
We did go to the gym, first session since returning from holiday. I have joined too, so now have to use it four times a month to get value. I just did a session on the bike to get the blood flowing, and so reduce swelling and improve recovery of the cuts and bruises I have.
Dinner was steak.
Good steak.
Seasoned. Then griddled steak. Left to rest, and served with potatoes, mushrooms and peas, washed down with the last bottle of pink fizz.
No football in the evening, so we went to bed fairly early, hoping for a warmer day on the morrow.
