One last Brexit line

Something that I missed this week, is that a group of Tory MPs from Kent had a meeting with the Goverment about Operation Brock, the preparations for no deal Brexit, and so it came to pass that for the rest of this month, the carriageway partitions on the M20 are indeed being removed.

This is perhaps the best indication that no deal Brexit is now not going to happen.

It could be replaced next November, of course, but for now, this is the first outward sign or some kind of normality returning.

Saying that of course, the reality could well be normality with rots of red tape, checks and delays.

The key phrase to listen out for this year is "rules of origin checks", as these will be unavoidable. Tariffs and leveling of VAT and exise depend on know where a consignment came from.

But I'm sure the Brexiteers have it covered. #irony
