May vs Parliament

Last night, the PM addressed the nation, blaming everyone but her for the Brexit impasse. The Speaker, MPs, voters, the EU.

You are tires, she said, of Brexit, and I am on your side. I want to get on with it.

There is an explosive atmosphere in the country, and to pit the people against Parliament is a dangerous thing, coming thess than two years since Jo Cox was shot in the face and stabbed in a political attack in Leeds.

MPs are not happy with this, and are now apparently less likely to vote for her in the MV.

She is at the end of the road, but still cannot see it. And as PM, is fully responsible for why we are here.

But, if she goes, who takes her place? Party election or national election? And then the same questions remain, what is Brexit and what relationship do we as a country want with the EU.

Two simple questions, but many, many answers. Showing why referendums don't work.
