Sunday Brexit

I know I have said this before, but this really is the week of destiny.

On Tuesday there is the second MV for MPs, who have been granted a second look at Brexit, as in the PM's views they didn't vote the right way the last time. This is despite a 200 vote defeat, and yet a referendum vote with less than a 4% margin, is a resounding victory that must never be questioned!

A vote of 100 plus seats for May should end her premiership, but plunges the country into chaos with just 16 days before Brexit day.

The Telegraph today leads with some nonsense about more of the population coming round to the idea of no deal. This is without anyone spelling out what a no deal would mean. The Mail leads with Rotten deal means the UK will never leave the EU.

Meanwhile the US are trying to convince anyone who is listening that chlorine washed chicken is fine; but that is not the point, the EU bans it, so if we let US produce in, then a hard border for chicken products is going to happen, no matter what. And same for every produce that is banned in the EU that we let in.

Brexit is all about compromise, saying yes to one trade block means another will say no to us. The folly and economic illiteracy of considering harming trade with our closet and biggest partners is insane. And yet both Conservative and Labour are both putting this forward as their main policy.

As I have said before, UK deserves Brexit and what it brings, as we are so dumb to let it happen. But this means people will die. Public spending will be slashed; libraries, road repairs, benefits will all be cut and the NHS rather than being privatised by stealth will be done and so health care will be limited to mostly those who can afford insurance, the rest will fall between the cracks.
