Where are we now?

I haven't got a fucking clue.

Although the vote tonight was just two and a half hours ago, I have to think hard as to the what the vote was for.

It was whether no deal should be taken off the table.

The Government whipped their party against the motion, and still lost.

But May still refuses to change and is now planning yet another MV next week, and maybe another the week after.

Apparently she can ask The Commons the same question time after time until they get the "right" answer, but the electorate will not be offered the same.

Her government managed to mess up the whipping of the party, with the three line whip being contradicted by an official inside Number 10 telling MPs there would be no repercussions if they abstained or voted against. Three ministers failed to vote for the PM, and even one whip abstained.

This is chaos.

May is to apply for a an extension, or I think that's the case, hard to tell among the shouting and screaming as the UK manages to make things even worse.

Whipping against no deal has further upset the EU who would really like to see some stability. At some point.

But wouldn't we all?

And tomorrow there is an amendable vote on an extension.

That will also be interesting.
