(The) Rogue One

The rogue one being the United Kingdom.

Yesterday, the UK Government published a White Paper proposing that it can disapply various parts of UK and International law and International treaties, as it sees fit.

And that, by Law, UK Mnisters must state that Rwanda is a safe country.

It emerged that the wording in the Bill would have been strong were it not for the fact that the Dictorial Government of Rwanda would not be party to breaking of international laws.

Later, immigration Minister, Robert Jenrick resigned because the Bill did not break enough international law.

And Number 10 stated that it expected Rwamda to aboide by the treaty they had signed, despite the UK Government quite happily deciding to break several such treaties itself.

The hypiocrasy is staggering.

Today, Sunak asked why should the Executive not be able to do as it wished and that the Courts should stay out as Parliament should be sovereign.

"We are a reasonable country, but our patience has now run out.

Our Parliament is sovereign, and it should be able to make decisions that cannot be undone in our courts."

This is exactly why the ECHR was brought it, to protect citizens in Europee for their own Government.

A shameful day for the UK, and for the Conservative Party, once the party of law and order.

Under this Government, the UK is becoming a failed, rogue state. A banana republice.

Septic isle.
