Project Fear becomes Project Reality

Today, the 3rd largest company in the FTSE100, Unilever, announced it was leaving UK for Amsterdam. Not because of Brexit it waid.

Oh no.

Not because of Brexit was a mantra that dozens of Brexiteers replying to tweets of the announcement. Nothing to do with Brexit, oh no.

Back in 2012, the then PM David Cameron, said that without the EU, Britain would become a target for Russia. That was Project Fear too.

Of course.

We would never be a target for a terrorist attack by Russian made nerve agent.

Oh no.

Last nigh DD was asked why he no longer brough Brexit bills before the house. Because Labour would vote against them he replied. See, taking back control, right there. Leaving the EU to restore Parliamentary Democracy, but only when they vote the right way.

And in the Lords where they are discussing the Withdrawal Bill, Lord Callaghan stated that even if both Houses of Parliament instruct the Government to stop Brexit, they would be ignored, as the result of the referendum must be honoured. So, there ends British Parliamentary Democracy, Plebiscite, a massive transfer of power from Parliament to the Executive. This is getting really scary now, as a pattern of wanting there to be no recouse for Minister's and Government's decisions is becoming not just a nightmare, but reality.

And with the Eurozone economy soaring, and Britain's having gone from the fast growing 18 months ago to the slowest now, what on earth could have caused that?
