The (Brexit) devil's in the detail

Not much to report on the latest Brexit nonsense, in that nothing really changes. But the two leadership challengers accepted to be interviewed by former Sunday Times editor, Andrew Neil.

And like all lazy scholars, Johnson had clearly been briefed to keep on hammering GATT 24 paragraph B.

So, he repeated ad nausium on how paragraph B would allow a continuation of trade deals, if only the EU could see, then it would be acceptable for both.

But what about paragraph C, Mr Johnson.

There followed two minutes of bluster.

Neil then asked, you don't know what's in paragraph C do you? A prime minister has to have command of details, like this.

Johnson turned on Neil, accusing the BBC of negativity.

That's when reality equates to negativity.

Of course.

Meanwhile, the Labour Party has been getting all twisted up in antisemitism. Under Jeremy, Jezza if you will, intolerance has been allowed to build, and two members of the party's NEC argued on Twitter.

Yes, as a party targeting the messenger rather than the antisemites shows how seriously you're taking the issue.

Four Labour Lords resigned the whip this week.

Hard to know which party is further up shit creek.
