Why?

Why did Trump and why does Patel and Johnson undertake such cruel policies?

Because they're cruel, and it triggers the libs.

Or something.

That Johnson couldn't arrange it so that there were no parties in the building he living and worked in, that he and Patel can arrange flights and screening in the west of Africa seems a bit of a stretch to me.

Ignoring the legality and eye-watering cost, it is being down to distract from COVID, Brexit and partygate.

It will cost about £100,000 per person flown to Rwanda, more than months B&B at the Ritz.

Before Christmas the Foreign Office was warning Rwanda about its human rights record, but now, according to Patel, its one of the safest countries on earth.

Israel sent 4,000 such "immigrats" to Rwands, all bar 3,991 have vanished without trace.

Is this what we are as a country?

Or is the policy to make legal challenges happen, and when the plan is deemed against the law or constitution, Johnson can blame "leftie lawyers".

I am old enough to remember when this was a sensible, caring country.

I can now say Johnson is more heartless than Thatcher ever was.
