A lot is happening, now the various summer holidays are over, and so as things ramp up, I will pick and choose what to write about.
Last weekm the Health Secretary, Gavi "fireplace salesman" Williamson, was asked in BBC Breakfast telly about mitigation on children returning to school.
He said there would be air filterers were being rolled out. But when pressed none had been rolled out, and a trial is only now being started. As the presenter pointed out, he's had all summer.
Meanwhile news comes from Florida where numbers of children hospitalised has just surpassed the numbers seen at the peak of the first wave in January this year, all made possible by no mitigation on returning children after the summer holidays, just like what is now happening here.
If I had a child, I would not be sending them back to school.
Today, 41,192 fresh infections were recorded, and bear in mind the tack and trace app has been dialled back nearly two months, the realy figure could be much, much higher. That is a weekly rolling average increase of over 12%.
Pictures over the weekend of people attening football matches at Wembley and other places, like its all over is very worrying. When we stopped at the cafe on Saturday, there were signs saying masks to be work except when at your table, but only one other couple did as we did in complying.
As with Brexit, the path is set, not much we can do except count the dead and apportion blame.
