Broken

Broken manifesto pledges.

Broken election promises.

Breaking "ring-fenced" commitments.

Breaking the promise to strengthen environmental protection.

And on top of that, after 18 months fighting on the COVID frontline, the poor and low waged will bear the cost of propping the economy up, as there are far fewer tax payers in the country now.

Those who work in hospitals and care homes will now pay more in tax (NI contributions) than the landlords they rent their flats and houses from, and the wealthy retired or those with "investments" pay no extra at all.

So to "save" social care, though only about 15% of the money raised will be for that, the rest is the put into the NHS, or so they promise.

$12 bullion raised in taxes, though that is a third of the cash Didi Harding burned though in setting up her failed track and trace system. Billion spent on PPE of dubious quality, the suppliers are let of refunding, but the poor get to pay more in taxes.

We have, as a country, the highest tax burden ever in peacetime.

Money could have been raised another way, but Johnson made the choice to do it this way.

Always a choice, not to hit his electoral base, the weathly and retired.

Make the poor and young pay.

Always.

This is a social contract and the Government just broke it.
