Do what I say not what I do

When asked, the Health Secretary replied that he didn't think people should have to show their "papers" proving they are vaccinated to get into pubs, clubs and so on.

But, the same Government he is a Minister in thinks its fine that 2,100,000 people should be disenfrachised from voting by needing photo ID to vote. Is this showing papers or something else?

THese double standards needs calling out by our press and media when such contradctions are made plain.

Less than 20 people were covicted of vote fraud, so this is a tiny, tiny problem, that the elderly, poor and urban poor are less likely to have passports or driving licences would effect more Labout voters, is this another version of repressing opposition votes to cement permenent Conservative minority rule, as in the US with the GOP?

At least the GOP do it in plain view.

The new police pill will be rushed through Parliament in one day this week, which will, in effect, take away the automatic right to protest.
