Another bad look

The Outter Court of Session listen to submissions all afternoon, and apparently didn't take the PM's or the Government's word that they would follow the law, the Government team we asked why a signed confirmation was not provided?

Because its not needed, was the reply.

Seeing this all happen in real time, and that in submissions from the Government, confirmation that Johnson would seek an extension on or before the 19th October 2019.

Problem was for the Government, a senior spokesman (Cummings?) was briefing the BBC that the UK would leave deal or no deal on that day. The applicants then read out the comments in court less than an hour after the BBC posted them.

Not a good look at all.

It seems the Government have been hosting representatives from the Hungarian Government, who Johnson and co have been lobbying hard to veto and extension by the EU27. This is the Government colluding with a foreign Government to frustrate the will of Parliament, if true.

When this was leaked, Brexit supports reacted with glee, which is where we are as a country right now. How on earth the country will ever be pulled together is beyond me....
