Where to start?

Life is coming at me thick and fast now, and so the blogging is suffering. I know those who read the Brexit posts might be disappointed, but its what happens.

But in Thursday there will be no more Brexit posts until we return on or about the 27th. It will be chaos, but I can reveal that the UK will not be leaving the UK on the 31st. There will be shouting, screaming banner headlines, but the fact is the UK isn't ready for no deal, and it would literally be against the law for Johnson to try to make it happen without Parliament's approval.

Yesterday, Scottish court accepted the Government's assurances they would comply with the Benn Act, but the wording of the judgement made it clear there would be severe repercussions if the law was broken, which could see some in Prison and others thrown out of the legal profession.

Quite how the Government has managed to paint itself into several corners, simultaneously, is quite a mystery, but sure that those huge brains Cummings and Johnson had it planned this way all along!

Or not.

This is a clusterfuck on a monumental scale, and we should all be laughing like drains.

I know I am.

And today, Merkal made it clear there is no basis for a WA other than the one May's Government negotiated, and Johnson has gone from talking tough prior to the Tory Party Conference about walking away f we don't get exactly what he wants, to begging the EU to meet us in the middle today.

Quite pathetic, really.
