Brexit footnote

For importers and exporters, Brexit is already here.

Arranging freight to and from the far east means that it will arrive the week of Brexit or after, and so they are having to second guess what Brexit will be like and the likely restrictions in force then.

Many might choose not to send or receive some or all goods, meaning Brexit or not, there will be shortages.

For those in the ERG and Momentum, Brexit might be a dogmatic argument, but for business, it is very real, and will soon be very real for most of us.

And now, British regional airline, Flybmi, has filed for administration and cancelled all flights, citing increasing fuel costs and Brexit uncertainty. Remember, all energy is priced in dollars, so is very susceptible to market fluctuations. But don't panic, DD says its OK.
