Today, May was defeated on her own amendments which were based on fantasy.
The pillar of piffle finally collapsed.
May was not in the Commons to learn of her Government's defeat. And nether the Minister for Brexit or the Chief Whip agreed to say anything.
Remember, May whipped her own party two weeks ago to vote against her own WA, and now in a neutral motion, the Commons failed to support her current "plan".
The motion supported remainer and Brexiteer amendments, thus neither could support it, so it failed. In normal times, the PW would have by now resigned, or will do tonight.
Instead she will carry on as if nothing has changed.
There is no chance of her WA getting through the Commons. No deal won't pass either, at least in theory, but when asked what MPs want to do about it, they pass.
So, this is where we are right now; even more up sheet creek.
God help us all.
And make it stop.
