Tuesday Brexit

Today May stood up in Belfast and made a speech that said that any WA with the EU would need the backstop.

In a stroke removing any last pretence of support from the ERG and DUP.

The DUP still want no hard border but hard Brexit. I mean I want loads of money and no job, but it doesn’t mean I will get it. We have to make a choice, one or the other.

In other news, the Port of Calais have banned Minister for Chaos, sorry transport, Christ Grayling, from visiting as a protest about his no deal planning. Whether that is no “no deal” planning, or just what piss poor planning he has done to this point, is unclear. The also used the term “failing Grayling” which was nice.

Reality is everywhere, and Brexit happens next month, and unless something is done, by the Government, nothing can stop it, and the effects will be extreme, but already it is clear that the Conservative’s claim to be the party of business will take a generation to reclaim,

It was also leaked today the promises made to Nissan to remain in the UK three years ago, a £60 million tax break. Brexiteers want it back, but the fact May broke her promises to them that Brexit wouldn’t affect their supply chains.

Anyway, sixty million compared to the three hundred and fifty million A WEEK, that was written on the side of a bus……
