The final two

So, 15 minutes ago, it was announced that Penny Mordor had been eliminated.

So the entertainment this summer will be Sunak v Truss.

Sunak is tainted by being the Chancellor incresing taxes year on year, but is a smub ex-public schoolboy, independently rich, possibly his wife is still making money from business in Russia.

While Truss is Truss.

Her flag had been rising because of the trade deals she signed. On a railtour I heard from a Brexiteer the value of deals she had negotiated and signed.

Which is true.

Partly true.

It's the total value, but in terms of an actual increase on what we had before, almost nothing. And the deal with Austalia and New Zealand will harm domestic farmers and economy for the sake of Truss being able to say she had agreed a deal, any deal.

The details are being hushed up, and will not be discussed in Parliament before it is ratified, but expect that to be a huge issue in the long, long weeks ahead.

She is also an ex-LibDem who once spoke in favour of abolishing the Monarchy, and campaigned, strongly, for Remain. Though, like Johnson, has had a major change of heart.

In the end, the Parliamentary Party ditched Johnson wanting change, but have voted two of the most senior Ministers from his two Governments. So, they wanted change and went for no change.

This is going to be fucking hilarious, but at the same time, the country will starve, burn and get poorer.
