It's not much to ask

Margaret Thatcher once said it is the primary duty of a Government to obey the law.

For a Government filled with people who apparently idolise her, maybe this is something they should remember.

I would like a Government that obey domestic and international law, and were appropriate, UK political conventions.

I would also like the Ministerial Code to be applied, and if a Minister breaks it, then is either sacked or forced to resign. One of the requirements of Ministerial Code is to obey domestic and internatonal law.

I would also like the Government to honiur its international commitments to treaties and conventions it has signed up to, be that either the WA, TCA, NIP or the UN Convention on Refugees.

I would like the Government to use evidence and risk based analysis when making decisions. Not everything is black and white, and every one comes with risks and opportunities.

I would like the Prime Minister and other Ministers to take responsibility for their actions and policies, not blame their own failings on: The EU, the Civil Service, Remainers, or whoever.
