More lies

On Monday a spokesperson for the Prime Minister rejected Rashford's call for extending free school meals through the summer.

On Tuesday, Johnson claimed he had only heard about the Rashford's campaign that very day.

Neither can be true.

As the Government is now run by former journalists, people who have never really achieved anything, we can see their project delivery skills on an almost daily basis. From the ongoing car crash that is Brexit, still no idea what the end will look like, but no deal is the easiest, because it involves no actual work, other than how to frame the blame on someone, anyone else.

And now there is the track and trace app, that was planned to be a prerequisite for loosening the lockdown, then was planned once the first stage of the loosening had happened. Then the end of June. Now it is to be sometime in the winter.

Didn't says which year though.

The failure to have the track and trace app and infrastructure in place for the end of lockdown is a colossal policy failure that will result in yet more deaths, but a few thousand more when you's killed nearly 70,000 already hardly matters. Does it.

In Brexit news, the Government is planning "shcok and awe" to make sure the public and business are prepared for the end of the transitions.

Cruise missiles seems harsh!

But another £100 million publicity campaign to cover up the fact there is no plan.

Brexit at work for your tax pounds, right there.

Brexit has so far cost £130 Billion, and £70 billion more by the end of the year, and we haven't left the SM or CU yet. Enjoys these pandemic filled days, because we will yearn for these salad days soon.

Australia is the other side of the world. It has 25 millions inhabitants. A trade deal with Oz will result in £1 billion increase in trade, a drop in the (pacific) ocean when compared to the amount we export to the EU. New Zealand is even further away, has fewer inhabitants, and a trade deal with NZ might, at best increase UK GDP by 0.01%.

So, let Johnson play smoke and mirrors with talk of a trade deal with Oz and their tasty wines. Means nothing to exporters. Anyway, Liz Truss is on charge of those talks.
