Smoke and mirrors

Johnson is a buffoon.

But it is an act.

He runs interference whilst in the background, Cummings and his team of advisors rewire our democracy, in their favour.

Statue-gate shows this. Create an imaginary scenario, appear to deal with that, whilst the Civil Service is bypassed and 41,000 people die.

This Government, and the ones of May and Cameron, make no mistake, ran policies for ideological reasons, there just wan't anyone around to humanise the cruelty.

Along came Marcus Rashford.

He humanised child poverty and hunger, and made the Government perfom a u-turn. Again.

Not all ideological and cruel policies have a Premier League footballer to fight for it. 120,000 people died as a result of the failed Cameron and May policy of austerity. No one apologised, the media barely covered it. Disabled people had home care withdrawn, some had to bathe in kids paddling pools in their living rooms because no carer came any more to bathe them with dignity.

The wrecking of our democracy goes on, hidden in plain sight, and egged on by their friends and former school and college friends in the press.

All people are equal, but some are more equal than others.
