And a very odd day, during which very little happened.
As for the weather, started out fine, but grew wetter and windier as the day went on, so I went out early to take some snaps.
Other than that, not much, again, to report.
I work. I have breakfast. Work some more. Have lunch and work to three.
By which time the wind was blowing and the rain coming down in buckets.
It grew dark early.
I put potatoes in for jacket spuds. This requires mine to be cooked for at least three hours, so the skins are brittle and crisp. Jools likes hers less crispy, so hers take an hour less.

Jools dropped me off, and the drive was through monsoon-like conditions, with the rain bouncing off the road as we inched into Walmer.
This coming after a very wet autumn and winter, the land is waterlogged.
I got out of the car and dashed inside the bar, holding my bottle. Due to the conditions outside, only three others turned up and two of those was the landlady and landlord!

Pedro win by just two points, so the victor: the spoils.
We had several more nips, and a pint of vanilla stout before Jools came back to rescue me.
