Views from a non-believer

Brexit is a fundamental religion.

You either believe or not. There is no proof, just belief.

If its not working, then you need to believe harder.

And you should stop talking Britain down, you remainer, with all your questions and "facts".

And any "expert" who says Brexit won't work is just one of the elites that are grouping together to talk down Brexit to protect each other from the Brexit purity.

Today, Jaguar Land Rover announced half their workforce was switching over to a 3 day week because of the dual problems of a slump in diesel sales and Brexit uncertainty. But the use of Brexit as a mitigating factor is seen by rank and file believers and the elite high priests of Brexit as an excuse.

Christine Lagarde, the IMF's managing director, said all forms of Brexit would cost UK money. The Chancellor agreed, the PM didn't.

But don't worry, because the PM said she would make a success out of a no deal Brexit. Hmm, that sounds familiar.

She also said that it was either her Chequers deal or no deal.

Like she knows what she's talking about, or if she does, she's hiding it well.

Make no mistake, there has been almost no forward movement in talks since December, and in fact UK tried to move back on agreements it made at the time, before being bitchslapped by the EU. The ERG are angry. I'm not surprised, at being so dim that they nodded through the December agreement, twice, without understanding what they'd agreed to, and yet they are now saying how beastly the EU is, but in reality, if they understood the issues and the proposed solutions, they should never have agreed to the joint statement.

DD certainly didn't understand, but then he was only the Minister for Brexit and lead negotiator, why should he understand something so basic as the agreement he actually negotiated?

Reality and Brexit are getting closer day by day now, this is like matter and antimatter meeting. Or common sense and anti-common sense. There will be an exposion, but only a few political careers will be damaged. Oh, and the UK economy, but hey....
