World beating chaos

This morning it was announced that PHU had “misplaced” 16,000 positive COVID results, and that they had to be added to the running totals, meaning that for some days when the original data said just over 6,000 cases had been recorded, it was over 10,000.

It turned out, and I am not making this up, that PHE were using an EXCEL spreadsheet to track the data.

Every one who tested positive was informed, but the data wasn’t passed on to the track and test teams, that were only doing their job in 70%\ OF CASES.

Or something.

This is another stunning failure by Johnson ally, Baroness Dido Harding.

In some cases the data was lost for ten days.

This is the “world beating” system that Johnson and Hancock promised us over and over again? Asking for a friend.

So, the northern half of England is under various lockdown regulations, too complicated for almost anyone to understand, and yet you could be liable for a £10,000 fine if you were to break then either on purpose or by accident.

I have been blogging on the actions of the Government, Ministers and Brexiteers for over four and a half years, and what is most obvious is their clear lack of talent for Governing or even managing the most basic of policies. Executing Brexit or dealing with a global pandemic is far beyond the limited skills of someone like Harding, who has head of Talk Talk had to explain how two schoolkids hacked thousands of their customer’s data.

Remember, she is not just head of track and trace, but will also head the replacement for PHE when that happens.

One thing the UK is leader of the world in, is incompetence.
