After multiple announcements that Wednesday night would see many more demonstrations/riots/looting, in the end, nothing happened.
Worse was the clear threat to attack lawyer's homes and businesses that helped refugees.
That didn't happen either.
What did happen is that tens of thousands of people took to the streets to protect the homes and businesses of non-white people, faced down the neo-nazi threat.
In Brighton, just 4 (four) Nazis turned up.
Generations on from Mosley's fascists were faced down in Manchester, the same thing happened in 2024, all over the country.
Turns out this is who we are too.
