Brexit reality

There are a couple of series of Tweets suggesting that Brexit can be reversed, and cases are pending in the UCJ.

As much as I would love there to be some hope in this, there isn't.

Brexit was the legal process of not just the UK leaving the EU, but in legal-speak, the articles of the EU no longer applying to the UK as a member state.

As a matter of International Law, the UK left the EU. THe only way back in by following the process in Article 49, and that is lengthy, and the EU would not accept it with UK politics being such a basket case.

In other news, a group of Northern (English) businesses have called on the Government to accept the current reality and try to make what we have in trade, work.

Two new cliff edges are approaching, and the only tactic the UK knows how to use is conflict, not cooperation. So, until that changes, not much else will, and if there is change, it will be for the worse.

Jools went shopping Thursday, there is no soda, tonic or otherwise fizzy water to be had. Nor was there much British fresh produce, all we could get was Spanish strawberries.

Here in Dover, rubbish collections are two days behind, even after abandoning garden waste collection. This is due to a shortage of people to work on the rounds. The official line is that garden waste collections will commence on 17th September, I'm not holding my breath, though.

We were in a pub yesterday, and the family on the next table were talking about JOhnson, and happly comparing his to Chruchill, saying how hard he's been working and now with Carrie being pregnant. If there are many people/families that think this, in light of the 160,000 plus excess deaths, the corruption and lies, then we really are fucked.

With that happy thought, I bid you good evening, and hope you all enjoyed your adequate dinner.
