Boris Johnson's new Head of Communications made his first public statement, and it didn't really go well.
Guto Harri said that Johnson isn't a complete clown.
Now call me picky if you want, but in my national leaders, the one quality I really don't see as essential is "clown". I would rather there be a total absence of clowness in Johnson.
He also revealed that he asked Johnson if he thought he will survive, and Johnson replied singing in a Gloria Gaynor style that he would survive.
Glad Johnson is taking this so seriously.
He's still in post, but has to convince MPs that those he has brougt in to Number 10 are "grown ups", not sure how those who left last week are going to react to being called, in effect, children?
When it is clear the man-baby in the big office is the problem.
Totally normal behaviour in a functioning democracy.
