What now for the clown King of the World?? (part 2)

After months and years deriding "leftie" lawyers, Johnson has instructed such a lawyer, though not lefty, to defend him against "partygate"

And in a leak last night to the Financial Times, the Cabinet is increasingly confident they have a defence for Johnson.

In other words, they believe they have found a loophole in the regulations they helped pass, that the told the rest of the country to follow to keep us all safe.

It might even work.

If it does, that the rules did not apply after all to Johnson, then the public outcry might be loud and long.

Or time will have passed, and we all move on.

Even if it does work, it will show he lied or at best, misled Parliament, something that clearly requires him to resign for. He migt try to brazen it out, but would the Party stand for that? Would the country stand for that?

The Cabinet has asked the Metropolitan Police not to publish any of the 300 photographs supplied by Sue Gray for the investigation, as well as not naming any person a FPN is ordered to pay.

Meantime, Johnson gets to play being King for a while longer, unable to lead the country unless he adopts the policies of the ERG and a new faction on similar lines, one to get net zero scrapped.

Net zero is about saving the planet, and lets be honest here, the tools at the ERG and their factions don't care.
