Stupid days

Yesterday marked the 100 days until Brexit mark, and instead of discussing that, the Commons instead discussed whether Corbyn had called the PM "stupid woman". I would have thought in triggering A50 without a plan was so obviously stupid, then who is to argue.

But Tory MPS who forget that a Labour MP was murdered by being shot in the face then stabbed, instead get their knickers in a twist over some faux sexist outrage.

Much better to worry about how hundreds of thousands of UK citizens are going to fare as a result of Brexit that, let us not forget, were promised would make no change at all, as whatever rules the UK puts on EU citizens the EU will apply to UK citizens there.

It is stupids all round.

Andrea Leadsome, Leader of the House (ha, ha, ha, haaaa) Spoke this morning of how the lack of planning for a no deal was the EU's fault, not her Government's, when in fact, the EU have been planning for over a year. But when Brexit is all based on blaming UK domestic political policy failures on the EU, what change now? But that such blatant lies go unchallenged on the BBC "flagship" morning news program on Radio 4, what is the point of any of it, maybe the BBC should just become the propaganda arm of the Government, which it is being cowed into anyway.

I am now writing these through habit, and writing about this clusterfuck day after day is draining my sanity.

May now is accelerating the country towards the cliff edge of a no deal, and very little information is being released that will actually inform people what that means. We will know in 99 days.......
