What's the point Monday

Quite how UK got lumbered with the current crap bunch of politicians, those who put party politics above what is good for the nation. I’m talking about you May and Corbyn.

Both accuse each other of putting party before country, and they’re both right.

Today (Monday), Corbyn threatens a vote of no confidence in the PM, but not her Government, if there wasn’t a meaningful vote before Christmas. May announced it was to be in the week starting 17th January, and Corbyn dropped the vote. But it seems that it was more of a rebuke motion, and would have had no real effect.

So, what was the point.

May is still holding the line that she is still in talks with the EU on rewording the backstop in the WA, although the EU have denied this again and again and again.

So two useless leaders stand either side of the dispatch box accusing each other of, who gives a shit.

We really are at the end of times, and as a country, we fucking deserve it. We voted for Brexit after swallowing the lies and bullshit, and buy the newspapers that cheer the shitshow on.

As I write this, the no confidence is back on. Apparently, not that there is much point, sums up Brexit pretty well, then.

And meanwhile, firms start to shed jobs, relocate to Ireland and the rest of the EU, and apparently all is fine.
