Conservative MP for Lincolnshire town of Dunny-on-the-Wold, Edward Leigh, said that Lincolnshire was too full to accept any Ukranians.

Unlike the Dishonourable Member, I have been to Lincolnshire, and can report it is largly empty, being dead flat and covered with fields.

Fields that grow crops, which will need sowing and harvesting later this year.

Like all right wing flag wavers, gammon-face Mr Leigh only thinks of himself, and fails to see how stupid and out of touch with most of the country he is.

One can only hope that when the next election rolls round, his words and the fact that others in his Party have accepted bucketfulls of rubles, and rather than get a seat and eighty grand a year, they get their P45s and a place on the dole queue.

For too long, we have ignored what kind of people the Conservative Party puts forward.

Frankly, I would swap Mr Leigh for ten thousand Ukranians.

Remember the kindertransport, Ann Frank and six million jews that suffered at the hands of monsters like Putin.
