Iceberg ahoy

The good news for those not interested in Brexit is that I am out of the country for two days now and so there will be no new Brexit posts. Until I come back on Friday of course.

But, Brexit is now nearing, something. And so the news is coming fast and often, in that today, BMW, who own the Mini factory near Birmingham, that they would consider stopping production in the event of no deal.

There is no point in Brexiteers arguing this has nothing to do with Brexit, it clearly does.

Now what could have caused all mass producers of cars in the UK, to announce within weeks of each other, either investment or production was to stop? I mean what process is nearing its end that could have caused Nissan, Vauxhall, BMW, Honda to all reverse decisions?

Other than Brexit?

Meanwhile political pundit, Robert Peston is asking Vote Leave leaders Gove and Johnson how the current "horlicks" with Brexit matches with the promise of their campaign that the process of leaving would not even start until the exact relationship with the EU was to be. Vote Leave campaigned on a "careful change" ticket, not ramming the fucking iceberg.

Still, keep believing and call on the spirit of the blitz, eh?
